Strengthening International Ties: Supporting Our Ukrainian Heroes
We're thrilled to share the highlights from the recent visit of the Borderlands Foundation delegation to Washington, D.C., led by our founder Samuel Cook. This significant visit marked a step forward in our international partnership efforts dedicated to supporting Ukrainian warriors.
A key event during the visit was a dynamic panel discussion featuring one of America's prominent strategic thinkers, Lieutenant General Herbert Raymond McMaster. The discussion focused on the support and future of Ukrainian soldiers, fostering deeper understanding between Ukrainian and American communities through resilient narratives.
We also introduced the Borderlands Foundation's Trauma Stress Center, which aims to provide practical and psychological support to Ukrainian veterans in overcoming the impacts of war.
Our heartfelt gratitude goes out to the Ukrainian Armed Forces veterans, U.S. government representatives, NGOs, and research institutions for joining this essential dialogue. Together, we are building a transatlantic partnership to develop initiatives that support military personnel in post-war society.
At the Borderlands Foundation, we are committed to ensuring that veterans’ voices are heard, their experiences recognized, and their lives safeguarded. Thank you to all participants for your solidarity and shared vision of a hopeful future.
