The mission
The Odysseus Project unites international and Ukrainian specialists in mental health, veteran rehabilitation and social reintegration. It develops and implements evidence-based support programmes for those returning from war and for communities that have experienced mass trauma.
The name Odysseus reflects the central idea: coming home is not the end of the road, but a separate and often the most difficult part of the journey.

Psychological rehabilitation programmes for active soldiers and those returning to civilian life; work with combat trauma, PTSD and adaptation disorders; mental health support inside units.
Accompaniment through the reintegration process: psychological assistance, social adaptation, professional retraining and family support, on evidence-based approaches adapted to the Ukrainian context.
Work with civilian communities that have lived through occupation, bombardment and forced displacement; raising psychological resilience at community level; training specialists in first psychological aid.
The Odysseus Project remains open to partnership with organisations, researchers, clinicians and institutions that share the mission of recovery. It invites collaboration regardless of the scale and geography of the work.
Academic preparation and scientific activity spanning decades, at the intersection of military psychology, leadership and recovery after trauma.
